The Initial Interview:
Our first meeting is simply a chance for us to get to know each other, and decide whether we might like working together. We may meet at my office, at your home, or at a café. You get to ask me everything you ever wanted to know about real estate, and I get to ask you about your needs and expectations. It generally lasts about an hour, but anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours is common. There is no charge or obligation for this consultation. If we both feel like we're a good match, we move on to the next step. I frequently have my first meeting with clients as far as a year in advance of the actual purchase or sale, because there are many decisions to be made, and actions to be taken, that may change the course you ultimately choose to follow.
